I will be giving a keynote lecture about the use of metal-organic frameworks in analytical extraction and separation methods in the next edition of HPLC conferece, which will be held in Milan in June. What an honor! Check all the keynote speakers. 6 February here My former PhD student María José Trujillo-Rodríguez visited our lab today before heading to her new post-doc position at the University of Balearic Islands. Mary, I wish you all the best, but I we want you back anytime soon. We miss you! 27 March Idaira Pacheco-Fernández is right now in Philadelphia to attend PITTCON2019 Expo and to present her latest results on the use of metal-organic frameworks in solid-phase microextraction. Enjoy this huge conference!! 17 March We are really happy for the huge participation this year in the XV Chemistry Students Conference at ULL. We are really proud of our students: PhD, MS, undergraduate and other collaborations. All of them succesfully presented their communications. And congratulations to Diana & Mariela for their poster award. Good work team! 4 April We are back from HPLC2019 Conference! We enjoyed a really nice conference where I gave a talk on the use of metal-organic frameworks in analytical chemistry as invited speaker. I am super proud of our PhD students Adrián, Provi & Idaira for their great talks! I am also really happy for the succes of our team despite our studies were focused on sample preparation: the poster presented by Adrián was a finalist for best poster award, while Idaira was a finalist for the Csaba Horváth Young Scientist Award. 20 June
